Douglas McKay & Associates Pty. Limited is a small firm based at Palm Beach, Sydney, specialising in residential and urban design.

The practice was established in 1990 by Douglas McKay, a former director of the pre-eminent Australian-based architects, John Andrews International Pty Limited.

We are best known for our thoughtfully designed houses on difficult sites around Sydney’s waterfronts and ridges. Recent projects also include multi-unit housing at the Central Coast and Niseko ski resort, Japan and the Master Plan for the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada (the latter with John Andrews).
